Rocking Good Time

So Nora and I went to see Bob Schneiderat the Independent yesterday. It was an awesome show. His opening band was a bit loud, but they could rock. The lead singer had the scary rock and roll fright wig look and spent most of the set drinking beer and saying stuff like "We're Suffrajett don't forget".

So Bob came on to the theme music from the price is right. They started rocking pretty much right away, and Bob seemed a bit put off by the crowd or something. He wasn't doing his normal talk to the crowd and get them riled schtick. Then he swallowed his gum during a song and that lightened things up a bit. He played a great set, and in retrospect, I wished I would have bought the live CD that they offer, but for some reason, I wasn't into it at the time. Oh well, I'll get one the next time he shuffles through town. If you haven't heard his music, you should give it a listen.
