Gentoo Take 2

I decided to retire my old RedHat 7.2 box. It has served me well for almost 4 years and it has gotten to the point that i can't even shoe horn new appications into it due to problems with libraries, the kernel, the web server, etc. I did an experiment with GenToo about a year or so ago and put it on an old Asus notebook computer I had lying around. It took me some time to get it installed (like a week) but once up and running it was flawless. I didn't end up doing as much with that box as I had planned, but now i have decided to convert and old PC to Gentoo and make that my new server. I will keep you up to date on how it's going. It should be a wild ride Mr Toad.

Countries I've Visited

I ran across this while checking out a friends blog. This site allows you to enter the countries you've visited and then creates a map on the fly. So here's where i've been.

They say that's 6% of the world (14 countries total)
