When a Mockup Becomes a Product

Much of what I do in my new position has to do with defining software requirements or negotiating delivery dates with other business units. It's not too often that I have a direct impact on any of the final products that are being delivered to consumers. I have noticed however that a mockup I made for a typical software installation flow is being used by one of the groups. My mockup was never really intended to be the end product, but who knows, it might be coming soon to a CD near you. I suppose the moral of that story is first treat all of my designs as if they will be shipped to consumers, and second, don't be too disappointed when they aren't. If it gets shipped I'll include a screenshot
